Ever wondered what it would be like if dieting was easier or eating healthy in general? This project will show you that food can be delicious, healthy, and easy to make! Coming from a multiethnic background, I have created dishes inspired by both Taiwanese and Vietnamese cuisine. This small cookbook can motivate others to adopt a healthy and fun diet. Besides experimenting with food, I am analyzing each recipe with Ms. Amber Parisie, a registered Nephrology dietician, while interning at New Day Nutrition to see how dieticians use their knowledge of food to improve one’s health. For this project, I am researching ingredients, creating dishes, and modifying traditional recipes to maximize their nutritional value. My project focuses on solving whether or not Taiwanese-Vietnamese foods can be nutritious and delicious. I strongly believe that this project will help people who crave these cuisines and want to eat healthier.
